I discovered somewhat late in the game that I truly enjoy writing. Starting a blog was a great outlet for my sarcastic gripes about the stress of motherhood. Don't get me wrong, I have plenty more where that came from!
Recently I got the crazy, hair-brained idea to write a book. This book is not in keeping with my usual humorous and light-hearted writings. Instead, I am creating a fictitious world based on the stressful reality of the pediatric intensive care unit.
The synopsis reads:
Julia Moran is a typical 27-year-old, spending time with friends, worrying about potential dates, and loving her job as a nurse in the pediatric intensive care unit. When she suspects that a patient is a victim of child abuse she's convinced that the perpetrator is walking free. She hatches a plan to expose the truth and becomes more ruthless as events spin out of her control. She finds herself fighting for an innocent life while plotting to destroy another's. Will she exact the ultimate revenge?
The working title is Nightingale's Vengeance
